These four little girls have been left abandoned by their parents after they were accused of being witches in Abak, Akwa Ibom State. The girls have however being rescued. This developmet was made by the Child's Right And Rehabilitation Network (CRARN). The children whose origins are yet to be identified said they were told in a prayer house that they were witches, an allegation which compelled their parent to abandoned in another prayers house which they went for deliverance, for years without bringing them food to them.  Their parent later came to the church at the instance of the pastor, pick them and put in a waiting car which drove them to the Abak bridge and dropped them there. Arun Kumar is a 22-year-old man who has suffered a disability since he was born. The young man was born with four legs and that has left him unable to do certain things normally. Now he has used social media to appeal for doctors to amputate his two extra limbs. According to Dail Mail, Arun Kumar, 22, was born with two extra legs growing from his lower back - one underdeveloped and the other permanently bent at the knee. Arun, who lives in Uttar Pradesh, India, appealed through social media for medical help to remove his extra legs. A team of specialists at Fortis Hospital in Delhi responded to Arun's plea for help and organised a series of tests to find out how the legs are attached and if he can be treated. Arun said: 'If I get an operation and doctors take off my two extra legs, then I can also live a normal life. 'I may be able to move and walk properly like others. If they are willing to do an operation, then I'm ready.'

Dr Arikawe Adeolu, an Abuja-based medical expert, advised that it is safer to trim the hair rather than shaving it off completely. He said that complete shaving of the hair could cause infection. Adeolu told our correspondent on Tuesday that shaving or waxing of the hair around the pubic could cause cracks and expose the skin to bacterial infection. Dr Kabir Getso, Kano State Commissioner for Health, said on Monday in Kano that the state had recorded three confirmed cases of Lassa fever since the outbreak in December, 2015. Getso who spoke while addressing newsmen, said two of the confirmed cases were recorded in Garun-Malam Local Government Area of the state. The commissioner said that the patients died at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) on Dec. 2, 2015. He said that the third confirmed case, a young businessman from Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area, came to Kano from Benue last week. The commissioner said that all the contacts were identified and followed up. According to him, more than 70 per cent of them have either completed their 21 days follow up or tested negative. He, however, said that another two suspected cases were currently on admission at the designated isolation and treatment centre at Yar’gaya Hospital.
