NAFDAC said these noodles contained excess lead and were therefore deemed unsafe and hazardous for human consumption. “Nestle has recalled its Maggi instant noodles from stores across India following the report by the Indian Food Safety Regulators of probable lead contamination. Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, today begged President Muhammadu Buhari to give him the privilege of nominating an Ekiti State indigene for appointment into Buhari’s cabinet. Fayose, who was one of Buhari’s biggest opponents in the run-up to the March presidential election, said this in a statement on Tuesday.
